Ternopil National Economic University (TNEU)

 2. Main field of activities of your institution:

Today, the TNEU is a multidisciplinary educational complex consisting of three institutes and fourteen Faculties, sixty-eight Departments that train specialists in nine areas, twenty-two specialties and forty-six specializations. The University offers Postgraduate studies in sixteen specialties, and Doctoral studies in four specialties; there are three specialized Academic Boards for Defence of PhD Theses, and two specialized Academic Boards for Defence of Doctoral Theses.

• Kalush Faculty.

Openness to inter-university communication is the key to the success of higher education.Ternopil National Economic University has close creative, educative and scientific cooperation with leading universities of Canada, the USA, Great Britain, Sweden, Finland, Germany, Poland, Bulgaria, France, the Netherlands, Denmark, Greece, China, Slovakia, Italy, Spain, Ireland, Russia, Switzerland, Austria, Byelorussia and other countries. In 2005, the TNEU became the member of the European University Association. Scientists from the University participate in the European Association for International Education (Amsterdam, Netherlands, 1999). On the 19th of September 2008, TNEU joined the Magna Charta Universitatum

3. Information about the intended TEMPUS project:

TNEU is ready to start joint development of any new project, which is related with university management and student services; introduction of quality assurance; development of partnerships with enterprises; knowledge triangle: education-innovation-research; development of lifelong learning in society at large; qualifications frameworks.

TNEU has participated successfully in 5 Tempus projects.
