1. Name of your university/institution/industry or company interested in participating in Erasmus Mundus project: F.Scorina Gomel State University

2. Main field of activities of your institution: Education Gomel University counts 14 faculties and 52 departments where work 710 teachers, including 41 doctors, 31 professors, 250 candidates, 210 associate professors, 13 000 students. The education of the students at Gomel University is organized in 40 specialties and areas. The University has MA course (19 subjects), postgraduate study (56 subjects) and institution of doctoral candidacy (5 subjects), there are 4 thesis defense councils in six specialties, including one council - for doctoral theses defense. The University consists of one research institute, 16 research laboratories involved in scientific research in various fields of knowledge, there is a Multiple-access Centre for environmental monitoring, equipped with unique scientific equipment. The university publishes a scientific journal "Proceedings of F.Skorina Gomel State University" and "Problems of physics, mathematics and engineering."

3. Project proposal/description (expected outcomes etc.): Enhance quality in higher education and academic mobility through cooperation between Belarus and Europe.

4. Previous international experience: No Erasmus Mundus project - Participation in TEMPUS program 1995-1998, - Tempus IV Project 2008-2011 – Perfection and Development of professionalized education (MODEP), Registration number ETF-JP-00408-2008 - Tempus IV Joint Projects 2010-2013, TFCTF No. 32/2010 – Preparation and advanced training of the teachers of tourism disciplines in the Republic of Belarus - Eastern Partnership in Pedagogical Innovations in Inclusive Education (~ INOVEST) – by 2015
