Lviv Banking Institute of the University of Banking of the National Bank of Ukraine (Kyiv) is the higher educational establishment of the IVth level of accreditation on specialty “Economics and Entrepreneurship” (Certificate, Series RD-IV № 116 705). According to the license (Series AB № 529 686 from 26.08.2010) the  Institute provides higher education in the spheres and specialties of educational-qualification levels “Bachelor”, “Specialist”,  “Master: “Finance and credit”, ”Finance”, “Banking Business”, “Accounting and Auditing”, “Economic Cybernetics” and “HR Management and Labor Economics”, and retrains specialists on “Banking Business” and “Finance”. It provides continuing educational of state officers and executives of state enterprises, institutions and organizations in the area of “public administration” (1501), continuing education of professionals of financial and credit institutions as well as training of citizens of Ukraine for entering higher educational establishments.

In general, scientific and pedagogical staff of 11 departments of the Institute - 5 of which are entitles to grant diplomas, that is,  Banking Business, Accounting and Auditing, Economic Cybernetics, Finance, Economics and HR Management -  train licensed professionals.

The Institute has been conducting over 20 practical and research projects over the past three years, and it has research laboratory of economic and mathematical modeling of financial markets and marketing laboratory.

Previous international experience:

  • Conducting research on the development of finance and banking services market, implementing innovative banking and financial products on the market as well as conducting market research.
  • Carrying out joint educational and scientific projects and grants with foreign partners (Economic University of Cracow, Republic of Poland; Polessky State University, Belarus, International University of Suzuki, Japan.)

The University of banking of the National Bank of Ukraine (Kyiv), including Lviv, Kharkiv and Cherkasy Institutes of banking, cooperates with 37 foreign educational establishments, banking institutions and consulting firms in different countries.

The University of banking of the National bank of Ukraine (Kyiv) also cooperates with Suzuka International University (Japan), la Escuela Universitaria Salesiana de Sarria en Barcelona (Spain), High School – Bank Institute in Prague (Czech Republic), the Baltic International Academy in Riga (Latvia), Swisscontact Senior Expert Corps (Switzerland), the Club of the Rectors of Europe in Oxford (Great Britain), British Senior Expert Corps and others.

On the basis of the Memorandum on Cooperation the University actively collaborates with the International Financial Corporation and the subsidiary production unit “Accountancy Tuition Centre”.

The University of banking of the National bank of Ukraine (Kyiv) is a member of international organizations:
