Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University is a higher education institution of the IVth accreditation level.

The University's structure consists of six Institutes and University College which train bachelors, specialists, Masters and PhD:

Pedagogical Institute; Humanitarian Institute; Institute of Institute of Human Sciences; Institute of Society; Institute of In-Service Training in Education; Institute of Arts.

University has 807 academic staff and holds the 7th place in the official ranking of Ukrainian classic universities.

Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University cooperates with the institutions in Russia, Poland, Austria, Turkey, the USA, Spain, China, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Belarus, Israel and Germany. We are members of the International University Association, European University Association, European Association of Education of Adults, signatory of Magna Charta.

Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University is participating in two TEMPUS projects supported by the European Commission:

«Education for Leadership, Intelligence and Talent Encouraging (ELITE)»

«Development of Embedded System Courses with implementation of Innovative Virtual approaches for integration of Research, Education and Production in UA, GE, AM (DesIRE)

Also University is participating in project that is implemented within the frame of the Seventh Framework Program (FP7) supported by the European Commission:

International research network for study and development of new tools

and methods for advanced pedagogical science in the field of ICT instruments, e-learning and intercultural competences (IRNet).

Priorities of the University development:

Introducing new perspective majors.

Increasing of the quality of educational services and ensuring they correspond to national, European and international standards as well as to the requirements of Bologna process.

Curriculum modernization (curriculum, programs, education's content).

Providing effective interaction and collaboration with the services' customers and clients.

Intensifying activity in the international and European educational space.

Interests for cooperation:

Reformation and modernization of higher education systems.

Joint Master Courses.

Developing contents and pedagogical methods and tools for teaching and initial vocational training.

Students and staff mobility and cross-border cooperation.

Supporting of transnational cooperation among higher education institutions and other relevant stakeholders through multilateral projects.
