The selection results of the fourth Call for Proposals to be funded from Tempus IV have now been finalised. 63 proposals have been recommended for funding from the Tempus budget. Nine projects are selected with participation of Ukrainian partners.

All proposals were evaluated by independent experts against the selection and award criteria published in the Call. The short-list of projects based on experts' quality assessment was sent to the EU Delegations, National Tempus Offices and relevant National Authorities in the Partner Countries for consultation, to ensure that they were in line with national higher education policies in the Partner Countries.

The responses from the consultation process were analysed and taken into consideration, along with the results of experts' evaluation, as well as other considerations to which a priority was given in the Call, namely to encourage Structural Measures and multi-country projects. Lastly, the selection committee had to ensure a geographic balance across the Tempus Partner Countries.

The following projects with participation of Ukrainian partners are recommended for funding:

Multi-country – Joint Projects:

Tempus IV Fourth Call for proposals is over in February 2011, and Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) shares the first results on submitted proposals at http://eacea.ec.europa.eu/tempus/results_compendia/statistics_en.php.

All in all 531 e-applications were submitted, which is 18% more than last year (450 e-applications). As to the types of the projects, applications are split in the following way:

Виконавче агентство з питань освіти, аудіовізуальних засобів і культури завершило відбір проектів у рамках третього конкурсу Програми Темпус IV. До кінцевого списку проектів, рекомендованих до фінансування, включено 64 проектних пропозиції, з них п’ять – за участю українських університетів. Відбір проектів здійснювався за критеріями, проголошеними на початку конкурсу, за участю незалежних експертів, національних органів влади, представництв Європейського Союзу і Національних Темпус-офісів у країнах-партнерах.
