| Earsmus Mundus II Action 1 scholarships |

The results of the 1st call for scholarships proposals to study at the Erasmus Mundus courses for 2010-2011 in the framework of Erasmus Mundus II Action 1 have been announced. The 28 Ukrainian students in tough competition won scholarships grants, funded by the European Commission, to study at one out of 116 Erasmus Mundus courses in the Member States. 58 students were included into the reserve list and they have chances for scholarships only in case if one of main list students failed to participate. The majority of students represent the following Ukrainian Higher Education Institutions: Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, National Technical University “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”, National Aerospace University “Kharkiv Aviation Institute”, Dnipropetrovsk National University etc. Erasmus Mundus courses very on Strategic Management, Public Policy, Software Engineering, Mathematic Modeling in Engineering, Multiculturalism etc. The European Universities chosen for study represent University of Leipzig, Stuttgart, Torino, Universite De Provence – Aix-Marseille I, Kungliga Tekniska Högskolan, University of Groningen, Deusto and other. Geography covers France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Sweden, the Netherlands and other countries. Since 2004 158 scholarships and 27 academic fellowships have been awarded to representatives of Ukrainian Higher Education Institutions in the framework of Erasmus Mundus Programme.
